A Team Adventure at Rocksport

The SA Globus Sports Fiesta at Rocksport was easily one of the most memorable days our team has enjoyed together this year. For one day, we stepped away from our desks and immersed ourselves in adventure activities, team challenges, and plenty of laughter. From the moment we arrived until it was time to head home, the excitement never slowed down.

Getting Started

The day kicked off with a delicious breakfast, giving everyone a chance to catch up before the activities began. Once we were ready, each of us received a wristband and met our team coordinator, who would guide us throughout the day.

She gave us the name Team Black Panther, and everyone embraced it right away. It instantly created a sense of team spirit and friendly competition. Before we started, she explained how the activities would work and introduced an exciting challenge. Every time we completed an activity successfully, we earned a scratch card that revealed an animal. The person with the highest-ranking animal at the end of the day would receive a surprise gift. That simple idea added an extra layer of excitement and motivated everyone to give their best in every challenge.

Tiger Walk, Rope Climbing, and Archery

Our first activity was the Tiger Walk, which pushed many of us out of our comfort zones and set the tone for the rest of the day. Next came rope climbing, where determination, teamwork, and a little encouragement from our coordinator helped everyone reach new heights.

We then tried our hand at archery, and it didn’t take long for a few hidden sharpshooters to reveal themselves. The friendly competition made the activity even more enjoyable, with everyone cheering each other on while trying to hit the target. A few lighter team games followed, giving everyone another chance to collect more scratch cards and keep the excitement going.

A Well-Earned Lunch Break

By lunchtime, we had certainly earned a break. We gathered for a delicious meal, shared stories from the morning’s adventures, compared our scratch cards, and enjoyed some well-deserved rest before the afternoon activities began.

Tug of War, Balloon Games, and More

The afternoon brought even more energy and excitement. Tug of war quickly became one of the day’s highlights, with teammates pulling as hard as they could, shouting encouragement, and bursting into laughter once the winning side was decided.

After that came balloon games and several other team challenges. These activities weren’t just about winning. They gave us plenty of reasons to laugh together, support one another, and create memories that everyone would be talking about long after the event was over.

Tea Break, Rain Dance, and Heading Home

Following a refreshing tea break, it was time for the grand finale. The rain dance turned out to be everyone’s favorite part of the day. Almost the entire team joined in, dancing, laughing, and enjoying every moment without worrying about getting soaked.

It was the perfect ending to an incredible day. As we headed home, everyone was tired but smiling, already looking forward to the next Sports Fiesta.
